After sadly missing HOF induction in 1993 by a mere 7 votes, Orlando Manuel Cepeda justifiably joined the late Roberto Clemente as the only other Puerto Rican in the MLB Hall of Fame on July 25, 1999.
Undaunted by the fact that 18 of his peers with similar records (300 homers and a .295 career batting average) had already been chosed for induction, Orlando “Peruchin - The Baby Bull” Cepeda graciously accepted his place in the Hall of Fame along with fellow Inductees, Nolan Ryan, Robin Yount and George Brett.
This heavy stock 8” x 10” 1999 Hall of Fame Induction Day Card honors the career accomplishments of Orlando Manuel Cepeda. Separately, you will notice the card has been stamped and date-validated by the official Baseball Hall of Fame, USPS Induction Day Station in Cooperstown, NY. That’s about as authentic as one can get!
