After sadly missing HOF induction in 1993 by a mere 7 votes, Orlando Manuel Cepeda justifiably joined the late Roberto Clemente as the only other Puerto Rican in the MLB Hall of Fame on July 25, 1999.
Undaunted by the fact that 18 of his peers with similar records (300 homers and a .295 career batting average) had already been chosed for induction, Orlando “Peruchin - The Baby Bull” Cepeda graciously accepted his place in the Hall of Fame along with fellow Inductees, Nolan Ryan, Robin Yount and George Brett.
The authenticity of this standard size (3.625" x 6.5") Induction Day envelope is easily verified by the special postmark of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Induction Day Station, in Cooperstown, NY, dated July 25, 1999. The dark red border is background only!
For preservation, the HOF Induction Day Cover will be shipped inside a protective top loader. Yours for only $5.95, postage prepaid!
